Intern Reviews

  • "There was complete transparency and the overall environment and culture were amazing. Through my weeks there I asked many different people questions regarding work/life balance and such. There was a very similar answer among them that they are able to have a work/life balance with what the firm offers them."
  • "It was AMAZING - literally everyone is happy and excited to be there. You honestly forget you’re even working."
  • "Work life balance is something that is valued highly at the firm and interns work a very reasonable or light schedule. The internship is very accommodating and flexible and while interns work 40 hours a week there are fun events sprinkled in during this time."
  • "The firm culture is unmatched. Everyone I worked with was always happy to share about their experience with the firm and answer all the questions that I had for them. Even though I was nervous about messing up on tasks I always felt supported. The work days were 8 hours long but often there was downtime for networking within the firm as well as getting to sit in on the annual meeting."

Why Intern Here

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is committed to being the premier accounting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and regards its employees as its most valuable asset. We strive to create a work environment built on fairness, respect for one another, and pride in the firm we build. As a result, the firm attracts and retains top talent in our industry.

We develop people into our future managers and partners. Our partners take active roles in developing the skills and promoting the careers of each associate. Everyone is encouraged to shape a career that satisfies his or her needs while continuing to be challenging and engaging.

Our internal training and development program provides a streamlined process for identifying and attending classes, seminars, conferences, or workshops for professional and educational growth. It also ensures that our people meet or exceed the accounting profession’s continuing professional education requirements.

Though we occasionally add more experienced people to the firm to add to our practice’s expertise, we primarily promote from within. In fact, 30 of our 39 partners either started their career at Frank, Rimerman or grew into their partner role while working here.

New associates say their decision to join us was based on the enthusiasm and positive energy they felt during their interview process or internship. We offer direct hands-on learning and the chance to complete more than twice the continuing education required by professional standards through our comprehensive training programs. We also consciously mentor staff to help them find the best fit for their practice specialty.
