Intern Reviews

  • “The firm's culture is the best part about the firm. They really care about their employees and want to make sure you are on the career path that you want and have a lot of events where you can connect with different people.”
  • “I really loved the firm culture, and everyone in the company was so welcoming. There were several employees who vouched for how supportive the firm is, and a number of employees are allowed to be remote or part-time to accommodate their life.”
  • “We were not expected to work an unreasonable amount of hours. Large emphasis on connecting with each other, socializing, and meeting people within the firm.”
  • “During our internship we were not overworked at all and I looked forward to coming in every day. Everyone is extremely friendly and no one complained about being overworked. The firm is extremely flexible and understanding to your personal schedule.”

Why Intern Here

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP is committed to being the premier accounting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and regards its employees as its most valuable asset. We strive to create a work environment built on fairness, respect for one another, and pride in the firm we build. As a result, the firm attracts and retains top talent in our industry.

We develop people into our future managers and partners. Our partners take active roles in developing the skills and promoting the careers of each associate. Everyone is encouraged to shape a career that satisfies his or her needs while continuing to be challenging and engaging.

Our internal training and development program provides a streamlined process for identifying and attending classes, seminars, conferences, or workshops for professional and educational growth. It also ensures that our people meet or exceed the accounting profession’s continuing professional education requirements.

Though we occasionally add more experienced people to the firm to add to our practice’s expertise, we primarily promote from within. In fact, 30 of our 39 partners either started their career at Frank, Rimerman or grew into their partner role while working here.

New associates say their decision to join us was based on the enthusiasm and positive energy they felt during their interview process or internship. We offer direct hands-on learning and the chance to complete more than twice the continuing education required by professional standards through our comprehensive training programs. We also consciously mentor staff to help them find the best fit for their practice specialty.

Getting Hired Here

  • “The hiring process was very easy and clear. Timely responses and awesome interviewers that genuinely wanted to learn about your personality and how you would fit with the company culture.”
  • “By far the best interview I have had. Both people were extremely easy to talk through and they really just wanted to get to know me.”
  • “I talked to about five different employees, at different levels, throughout my interview process. Then when I showed up to the internship, I received a message from one of my interviewers wishing me well and offering to have coffee sometime. The interview process was not overbearing or difficult, rather like a conversation, but I could tell much effort was put into it. And my account matches those of my fellow interns.”
  • “The recruiting process went really smoothly and everyone that I talked to prior to the internship were really nice and friendly. The interview was more conversational, which was nice.”
