On November 3rd, Firsthand will be hosting its second annual Diversity & Inclusion in Internships Virtual Career Fair. The fair will provide students with exclusive insider access to internships and top employers, along with job postings, opportunities to meet experienced professionals, informative panel discussions, and a keynote speaker event.

The fair will be held from 10am ET to 3pm ET on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022. Sponsors of the event include global leader in digital services and consulting Infosys, innovative healthcare firm Abbot Laboratories, home improvement retailer Home Depot, top-ranked consulting firm Bain & Company, accounting firm Plante Moran, and consulting firm Trinity Life Sciences.

Who Can Attend?

College students, recent graduates, entry-level job seekers, and seasoned professionals of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend. The event is entirely virtual, so no travel is required.

What to Expect

The Diversity & Inclusion in Internships Virtual Career Fair gives attendees the opportunity to visit virtual employer booths where they can submit their resumes and schedule one-on-one video sessions with top employers. The event is a great opportunity for participants to increase their internship prospects, make key network connections, and realize their career dreams.

Attendees also have the opportunity to attend live events that feature guest speakers from various companies, as well as panel discussions led by executives from the leadership teams of top employers from a range of industries. Last year, the series of live events was led by keynote speaker Gorick Ng, career advisor at Harvard College and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Unspoken Rules: Secrets to Starting Your Career off Right.

Attendees last year were also granted access to the “Real Talk About Diverse Internships” panel, led by executives from Home Depot and Marks Paneth. The panel covered a variety of important topics such as how candidates can get the most out of their internship experience, and where candidates should go to seek out worthwhile internships in their field.
