APICS offers certification programs such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP); Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD); and Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional (SCOR-P). SAP America offers certification for logistics professionals in areas such as logistics execution and warehouse management.  Logistics engineers who work with Department of Defense acquisitions must be certified by the Defense Acquisition University.
