Intern Reviews

  • “The work/life balance at Elliott Davis is a major priority. I would be required to work 8-4/5 depending on the amount of work needed to be done, and then we were encouraged to take breaks, go for a walk, or play a game of ping pong or cornhole to move and enjoy being with coworkers. There is a full gym downstairs, and Elliott Davis will pay for your membership, unlimited PTO available whenever you need it, and the option to choose which industry you’d like to work in. I was completely satisfied there.”
  • “We were not required to work certain hours; however, we were expected to come in and perform the tasks we were given, and once completed and there was no work remaining, we could clock out. The work/life balance attitude was excellent…”
  • “The firm culture is great. Everyone in the office is very kind and helpful. Other employees made me feel welcomed and valued as an intern. My mentors in my practice provided me with the tools necessary to learn and succeed in my internship. I was required to work 40 hours a week. The work/life balance was great as I felt that I could complete my work in a timely manner while also having time for hobbies/traveling.”
  • “The internship was full-time but provided plenty of flexibility for appointments, sickness, and vacation. The culture is very kind and supportive, and the values are held in high esteem. There are frequent opportunities for company bonding that bring the office closer together.”

Getting Hired Here

  • “The people who interviewed me were very personal and friendly. I felt confident, and the interview was a good experience for me, too.”
  • “The hiring process was formal and very organized to where I knew I would have an exit meeting where I would get feedback on my performance over the internship and receive a job offer if one was coming. They did a great job at keeping us in the loop and making us feel wanted.”
  • “I'm not the best interviewee, but in both interviews with the recruiter and then later with some senior managers, my interviewers made me feel comfortable, and I felt that I performed better because of that. I also think two interviews is reasonable, and they were easy to schedule and flexible with my location because I was out of state at the time, which was nice.”
  • “The interviewers were very friendly. They were on top of everything and responded to anything I needed in a timely manner. The interview itself was not too difficult, as the interviewers made it more of a conversation, which allowed me to be confident and comfortable.”
