We are selective about hiring the most talented professionals and focus on developing tomorrow’s industry leaders. Investment banking professionals, from analysts to managing directors, are deeply involved with each transaction from pitch to closing, and employees across every level of the firm work together to ensure that our clients receive best-in-class service.
In addition to our on-campus recruiting efforts, we host numerous networking opportunities. In the fall, we invite undergraduate sophomore and first-year MBA women to our Women’s Leadership Summit. Held in the firm’s Richmond, Virginia headquarters, the summit includes a full day of events with special guest speakers, panel discussion, skill-building workshops, an interactive case study, and networking opportunities.
We also hold several investment banking internships. Each summer, we host our 10-week Summer Associate Program for MBA candidates in our Boston, Minneapolis, Richmond, and San Francisco offices. Undergraduate students also have the opportunity to participate in our 10-week Summer Analyst Program in our Boston, London, Minneapolis, and San Francisco offices. Summer interns go through a robust training program and are staffed on live deals. We also host a one-of-its-kind Boot Camp Program in our Richmond office. Boot Camp, an intensive two-week training and working session in May, is designed for rising seniors to simulate the fast-paced environment in which a full-time analyst is expected to perform.
Participants of all our internships will experience a deep dive into the sell-side process, complete with detailed instruction, opportunities to apply learning through assignments, and exposure to deal-related work and meetings.
