No matter how many good intentions with which we enter them, videoconferencing calls always seem to devolve in some way or another. Whether it's random noises in the background because someone didn't mute themselves or a pet who's crashing the party, Zoom meetings are never quite the same as normal, in-person meetings. It's important to remember to be kind and patient during these calls; we shouldn't think of our bosses or direct reports as less professional just because their three-year-old decided that your presentation was the perfect time for an off-screen meltdown. It's important to have a good sense of humor about these things because getting frustrated doesn't change the fact that, right now, both life and work are happening at home. We have to just embrace it and adapt.
But we can also have a little fun with it.
Below you'll find three bingo cards that you can use to play Zoom Bingo on your next call. Just make sure that you're also paying attention to the call while you're looking for cues to win the game!
