On February 11, Firsthand will host an MBA Virtual Career Fair for first- and second-year MBA students looking to prepare for and find internships and full-time positions. You can register for this free fair at this registration link, and learn more about it below.

Join a Career Paths Panel Discussion

You’ll have the opportunity to join a panel discussion and learn about top MBA career paths from senior professionals in the consulting, banking, and technology industries—as well as from entrepreneurs who founded their own startups. This panel discussion will focus on the best and most challenging aspects about each path, the future of each, and how to take the next step on consulting, finance, tech, and entrepreneurship career paths. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions of your own at the end of the discussion.

Listen to a Fireside Chat on Consulting Case Interviews

You'll learn everything you need to know about consulting interviews in a fireside chat with with Kenton Kivestu (the founder of RocketBlocks and an ex-BCG consultant) and Justin Hopkins (a BCG associate and RocketBlocks expert coach). You'll learn why the case interview is important, how to prepare for it, and best practices for succeeding.

Join a Social Impact Careers Panel Discussion

All attendees will have the opportunity to listen in on a panel discussion with representatives from top employers about how to find companies that are making a real impact when it comes to ESG (environmental, social, corporate governance), how to prepare for roles that focus on ESG, and where to find these roles. There will be time at the end of the panel for a Q&A.

Join a Career Search for International Students Panel Discussion

This special panel geared toward international MBAs will focus on the H-1B Lottery, the advantage that international students bring to employers, how to highlight that advantage, and inside tips to finding full-time employment in the U.S.

Connect with Top Employers Through Virtual Booths

In addition to benefiting from talks and panel discussions, you'll gain insights and expertise from representatives from many top employers who actively recruit, interview, and make hiring decisions. Several employers will host virtual booths, and each booth will include a list of representatives that can be booked for 20-minute one-on-one conversations that will take place on the day of the fair.

Also, upon registering for the fair, you'll be prompted to submit your resume for the chance to be pre-selected by employers for one-on-one conversations on the fair date. If pre-selected, you'll be notified via email prior to the fair. If not selected, you can still drop your resume at any employer booth that you choose, and be able to explore employer booths once they go live.
